- You feel like you need it after a long hard day
- You use it for stress relief
- You use it to calm nerves
- You use it to temporarily forget about your problems
- You use it as a 'mood booster' but when you "come down" you go back to feeling either the same or slightly worse than you did before
- You feel like you need it to get you through stuff
- You feel like you need it to get to sleep
- You feel like it's a good way to start the day
- You become dependent on it, when you do stuff like go on holiday for a couple of weeks, you think to yourself 'where am i gonna get my porn from? I can't go this long without it!!'
- You develop tolerance, having to watch more extreme, fucked up stuff to get the same "high" and same level of excitement
- You take risks (i.e. someone walking in, finding your browser history, etc.) and neglect other responsibilities in order to get your 'hit'
- You say you'll cut down, and manage for a bit but soon go back to old habits.
- You get withdrawal symptoms and cravings when you quit
- You constantly search for new ways to access porn
- You constantly search for THE video, the ultimate video that will give you
the same feeling of arousal and elation that you got the first time you ever watched porn, but never find it.

Feel free to add... Earlier I said porn is like a drug. Fuck that, it IS a drug.

Totally agree. Porn causes ED because as you watch porn your rewire your brain to get aroused by whatever it is your watching. Once there's a real woman in front of you, it's hard to get it up.

This isn't the case for everybody but it's very common. You find dudes who are hooked on some hardcore porn and that's the only thing that can get them aroused. Pretty sad.

A friend of mine (who I didn't consider close at first) confided in me that he had this problem. He said he couldn't maintain a full erection during sex unless he and his partner were watching porn. Crazy.

Porn can cause ED in a lot of guys, it disrupts the dopamine spikes associated with being aroused and can make it difficult to maintain an erection without porn as stimulation. However, it is reversible over a period of around 4 months if you completely cut porn out. I have given porn up for around 2 weeks and have already felt better about myself and have found pulling much easier, and enjoyed sex much more.
