Long story short.. Was supposed to be meeting a girl who I've seen previously before. I'm confident she likes me (and I like her) though over the past month I've played it very cool and acted like I'd lost interest. But today she text me saying she can't make it tonight after telling me yesterday she wasn't sure if she could (pretty sure she's playing hard to get) and I acted like I wasn't bothered. I haven't text her back yet so should I leave it that way or say something simple like OK that's fine.

However, I'm scared that if I carry on acting like I don't care, she won't contact me again as she doesn't think I'm interested, and if I admit to her that I do still like her, I think I then become an AFC!

What should I do?

Don't PLAY hard to get, make your life into something amazing where you have so many high quality girls in it that you have high standards about who you'll spend your time with.

No. A girl that is really interested in you won't flake without a really good reason.

A girl who I had set a date with had her mother show up unexpectedly. She had to cancel, but worked hard to set another time with me.

If you are worried about flaking, improve your game to get her more interested and more attracted. Everything you are saying is needy.

Not responding looks passive aggreessive. You can simply say "Sure." Or "Ok" and leave it at that.
