I have continued to study and practice the art of the game for about 3 years.The thing I realize that seperates the "guy who gets the lay" from the "guy who gets flaked " , is the ability to get inside of her head. If you can control her mind then you have her under your spell. I noticed a lot of people in the field use manufactured openers and often sound like a scripted salesman. Then they wonder why the girl shut them down.I will not say using openers are not a good way to approach ,but your game has to come off "natural". Females feed off a man's body language that reads natural confidence. The key reason a lot of people freeze up is because you studied 50 openers last night then go out to into the field and start to "over think". The key thing you have to understand when approaching, is that females are lovers of conversations. Females are addicted to conversation and if you can perfect that you will have something that attracts them. I have a 5 step agenda when engaging in conversation with a girl for the first time.

1. Find out her interests and what makes her tick.

2. Build a solid rapport ( If you didn't establish a solid level of comfort expect to be flaked its that simple)

3. Lead the conversation

4. Do not over compliment .

5. Maintain eye contact and be confident

For example, you can start by introducing yourself and then ask her " What are some things in life that you are passionate about " .Most women will respond to this type of question. Why ? Who would not want to discuss their passions in life. Once you have her opening and revealing herself to you , it will make it a easier transition to number close and avoid a flake. Natural conversation is also great because it prevents those awkward freezes .I hope this helped some people. If not you can just say gtfo newbie lol I have honestly gotten great results with this type of approach.

Yeah, agreed with most of that. I think to a large extent, number 1 is the main thing anyone (especially in day game or day 2 situations) can focus on improving. Maybe in a club it's not so relevant, but if you're in a situation where you're talking to a girl then being able to get her thinking "wow, this guy really gets me" is a great skill to have.

There was a very good post or two on here a while back which I do believe linked to an article elsewhere which discussed something called 'deep diving', or similar. My memory is terrible and I can't remember the author or who posted the link on here, but it was a superb article that I found very thought provoking and useful.

I will try and find the thread tomorrow, but the general premise was basically trying to get you to talk about things that 'dived' into her personality rather than the usual superficial "where do you work/go to school" type thing and a technique to do that but also maintain an air of lightheartedness as well. Sometimes going too deep is a bit too full on when you've just met a girl, so getting the balance right is important.
