Im new to this forum, this is my first post. What a boring opening sentence. Anyway, i started doing Pick Up a while back, like when i was 17. At first i did it just to fuck around, me and my friend would approach girls and just what we could get away with saying to them. Openings back then consisted of lines such as, 'Does this tissue smell of chloroform?', or 'What do you think of guys with 3 balls?' (which actually worked really well).

Now to the 3 set. I was on a school trip, a residential. We were going to Stratford to watch some plays, and Shakespeare shit. On the way we stopped at a service station, it was one of those big ones with a load o restaurants and seating inside. So im walking around, i have no wing, well my friends all bitched out on my when i said i wanted to try and meet some girls. We've been at this station for some time now, and ive found no girls whatsoever. Then, BOOM, i see three girls wearing school leavers' hoodies sitting in the food court. Now this isnt the actual 3 set i got numbers from, but it was kind of a warm up. Im standing by the entrance, i've got a load of guys ont he trip around me, lets say 15 guys im friends with. I tell them all that im going to speak to these girls and ask if any of them want to join, they all say no, and challenge me to approach these girls. So i do. i walk over to their table, grab a free chair and ask, 'Hey is this seat taken?', they reply no - thinking im going to take it away, then i just sit down with them at their table. One of them, impressed, opens me, asking me about myself and shit. Now anyway this set didnt really lead anywhere, but i instantly got a reputation among everyone on the trip. This is when i noticed how people treat you differently when you do pick up, they respect you in a way, and i fucking loved it.

Later, now this is the actual 3 set, we're waiting outside the theatre as we have some time before the play. It's summer, and we're on the green area, so there are people sitting out everywhere. On the walk down i noticed these 3 girls sitting, and i knew i had to approach them. So once our school group had stopped i alerted everyone that i was going over to those girls, and anyone that wanted to come was welcome. In the end this guy in the year above me came. We're walking to the set, they're sitting by the river on the grass. No one is around them so it's obvious we're going over to them. The guy in the year above gets nervous and starts calculating reasons why we're approaching, i tell him not to worry about it and just follow my lead. I use my standard, 'Hey, can we sit here line?' on the girls, and we sit down. I cant remember exactly what i said to them, but it was probably something like, 'We're not from around here, and we're bored as fuck, what can we do?' or some shit like that. Now it probably sounds like im a douche when i say stuff like that, but i try to do it in a cocky-funny way so its not too bad. We end up talking to them for a bit, just causal stuff, the guy im with doesnt really say anything but i always prefer to lead so i dont care too much. After five minutes or so i decide to number close the hot girl of the group with: 'Hey, can i get your number so i can send you dirty pictures?', she laughed, and i said, 'Not really, but im going to be bored as hell in that play.' Then i handed her my phone and she put her number in. Then i thought i should try and get the other girls' numbers. I knew that that would cock-block me with the hot girl, but i also knew that i was never going to see her again, and that my class were watching me do this. So i ask the other girl for hers, and she does, then i ask the final girl for her number and she gives it too. Then we get up saying how we need to get back to our group, and walk away. I was surprised i managed to get all of their numbers, my 'wing' was in awe. When we got back to the group word quickly spread about what had happened, and that day solidified my reputation as being a 'player' in 6th form.
