Basically, second scenario is you satisfy their temporary lust and all that happens is make out or very best one night stand aka fool's mate. That is not solid game at all.
In theory her approaching you means A1 is redundant, and you are into A2 or even A3. The best option would be to act like girls do in these situations: this happens to you all the time. Ask her if she wants to buy you a drink, make her qualify herself. Remember, if she just gets you by saying your hot, then she will not feel her interest is validated and she will lose attraction quickly after make out. After you validate her interest, then proceed to comfort and game as normal.
If she is simply being horny and you are looking for a quick shag to break a drought or whatever, go for it. However, if you want to play the actual game and develop your skills, as crazy as it fucking sounds, you may have to go for a harder to get girl and just stick to make out rather than using up your night to try and get with her. Maybe its me getting to a point where I look for a challenge and find no satisfaction (unless she is 8 or above type of thing), but these girls usually are only useful in creating social proof.
My answer to your question is either try gaming her from A3 to Comfort, or to make out with these girls in the busiest areas of the venue where the hotties will see you score. Hell, get her to give you a hickey which is a major turn on for girls.
