There is a family friend that has a daughter. these people are friends with parents. I have had my eyes on the daughter for a long time. not as a girlfriend or one night stand, she is wife material.

so last night, we were all together and I was standing by the table but I didn't have a plate. this girl was handing out plates, and my sister told her "give my brother a plate, as his future wife"
my sister doesn't know I like this girl, she just blurted out something random. in fact, nobody knows, I haven't told anyone.

anyway, in response, this girl said something like "in your dreams" or "keep dreaming"....I dont remember the exact phrase, but it definitely meant "in your dreams"

does this mean she doesn't like me?

You should've said with sarcasm if only dreams can be as sweet as you. Anyways girls just say random stuff. You could try to hang out more with her + your sister and then eventually just you and her as you tell your sis to give you space in private.
