i've been having good luck with number closing here lately- when you call sometime later do you guys leave messages? they obviously don't know who it is cause they don't have my number, but nothing pisses me off more than leaving a voice mail and not getting a call back. whats your opinions?

Yohon a lot of times girls don't pick up calls from strange numbers so I always go into the phone call with a plan for what to say if the call is answered and a plan for talking to voicemail. Shy away from proposing a meeting over voicemail. I start the message with an interesting fact (or fiction) that relates back to something discussed during the convo that landed the number for me and then say this is Rizor by the way. Hanging up abruptly at that point creates a disire for more interaction and then the girl usually calls me back after listening to the message.

yah rizor makes good points. NEVER schedule a date on a voicemail, dont even mention hanging out. Leep it real brief and leave something to be desired.

don't leave one, most people give cell phone numbers so she will have the number to call back, i mean who isn't going to call back a number they don't recognize. if it is a house phone, most people have caller id anyway, don't stress it. and with her calling you back, you can answer and have complete control she situation with ease...

example: "hey, so and so, it's so and so from (whereever), hold on for one second I'm (false dilemma)" or something along those lines. you can also opt to tell her you will call back, and shit...wait a good half hour then call back..

and if you do leave one, id follow what rizor said, mysteriousness will attract ANYONE, male or female.

Here's something that has worked for me. You might want to give it a try.

When calling a girl back for the 1st time after getting her number, block your phone number (use *67 before dialing if in the U.S.). Anyways, if she doesn't pick up don't leave a message. A few hours later, call again, this time without the number blocked. She can't assume you were the first caller because your number was blocked.

If you get voicemail, leave a BRIEF voicemail and either tell her you're gonna call her back later at roughly *** or to have her call you best (less likely). If she doesn't respond, try the same thing in 1 week. If still no response, throw away the number.
