| Ok, so I got a girl's number probably three weeks ago - and we immediately started texting at the club. We seemed to like each other, but as we were interacting, a guy came up and stole her away. I didn't stop it, because she was with friends and I mistakenly thought he knew her (I didn't realize that when I dress super dressy, men think it will be easy to blow me out. I've since wised up to this practice and I don't allow it to happen anymore).
Anyway, she left the club later on, passing by me, and I told her I'd call her.
I did, no answer, expected.
Anyway, last Friday I'm organizing a big party at a local club, and I'm inviting all sorts of girls out. I decide to send a text invite to her, because, why not?
She responded, but politely declined. I was surprised she even responded. That makes me think she might be more likely to respond to a further text - but I'm not really sure what sort of funny shit to say in a hail mary situation like this. What's a funny "opener" text? I mean, the incident in question where she was stolen away is far past us - I doubt she remembers it much. At this point I assume all she remembers is that I was wearing a bow tie and was sorta funny.
Obviously, I'm asking for this specific situation, but applicable in general too - I do hail mary texts occasionally myself and I want funny material for them.
