Don't worry about it. It all depends on where you are on YOUR journey. What is a new thing today, becomes obsolete tomorrow, because you have internalized it.

If you are on the begging on your journey, you can learn A LOT from MB.

Routines are good training wheels. You should start there then progress to natural game. Best way to get there faster is a boot camp with some one that teaches natural game.
