Use the dog? Pet it and maybe throw some sadness at it - tell them it reminds you of your dog you just lost not to long ago and how you miss him, bla bla bla. Then look at the target and say - "i bet you are a cat person though aren't you?" kind of like a neg / it helps build rapport if she is a dog person and u both "now like dogs"
Throw some DHV stories here and there, since you both are working there wont be time to full on game, so you gotta take it slowly. I would also do things like small games between each other, build kino through those games.
