Hi! I'm obviously new here, but not new to meeting the ladies!
However, I just screwed-up!
I've been going to this bagel shop for breakfast and about a month or so ago
I noticed this very cute redhead working there. I started chatting her up
and flirting with her every time I saw her there.
I had read online that since waitresses, bartenders etc. get hit on all the time,
it's usually better not to ask her out or for her number right away,
but instead to flirt with her and let her get comfortable with you over several meetings.
I can see the wisdom in this advise. But I took it too far.
I've been flirting with her for at least a month,
and now today I was told that she is no longer working there!
I'm going to try to find out where she works, but I most likely
will never see her again. Even if somebody at the bagel shop knows where she is,
they might not want to give out that information.
So now I've learned a painful lesson not to drag your feet too long to ask a girl out!

Sounds rough.. definitely something to take into consideration when taking things slowly.

They probably have her number lying around. Just tell them that you were flirting, but never dared to ask her number, and know it's too late. You got nothing to lose.
