I think the best situation to be texting a girl is when you have lots of other girls to already be texting. It's like going for job interviews when you already have a job or closing a deal when you have already met your targets. There is no pressure or neediness showing.

Funny thing is I have never steered far from the texting rules of waiting a long time before texting back, unless it is part of a conversation I am enjoying, don't usually answer any questions they have unless I really want to and and never normally send long messages back. But then that may just be how I would always have done it, I can't be sure.
