Guys, I got the number of this girl that I really like. But because she lives far, we haven't been able to meet since and I have been calling her for the last 3 days. The phone calls usually last around 2 hours! I know that is some gay friendzone shit, but I really make her laugh hard and I can tell she enjoys it. Finally yesterday, we had a shorter phone call (around 30 minutes), I said something funny again, and she was like "...you're soooo cute..." and of course I didn't say anything and moved on.

I know now what I have to stop calling this girl and stop being her fucking phone-buddy. But should I just freeze her out for the next 3-4 days and just ask her to come out this weekend? Also, she was like "...I know guys don't like being told they're cute, but you're soo cute..."-is that friendzone talk or is she a bit into me? Please help me out guys.

I'm only talking by my own experience as I have a girl I talk to on the phone for 2-3 hours and she only thinks of me as a friend/phone buddy. I think once you start talking for that long and you haven't hooked up with her already it turns into the friends zone. If you just called each other to arrange meeting then it might seem different.

I could be totally wrong and she could be still interested in you. However when a girl says your cute it usually mean friends zone as i've had this said to me before. ask her out and see what happens if she gives you the signals when you guys are out go for it.

Shit, really? How do I reverse this, just freeze-out and then ask her out? When I ask her out should I ask her to "tag along" or make my intentions clear? Please help!!!

Also, if I ask her out and she says she's "busy" or "can't make it." Should I just tell her "Oh no, I'm gonna lose interest in you..." Because the problem is she doesn't know if I like her in that way I think. You know, I need to make it clear to her as well. But saying "i'm gonna lose interest in you" might be DLV?
