As for myself, with the economy and my location, jobs are hard to find. After a long search I finally found a great job, I've been there a year. Theres been a couple girls that have come and gone, but due to me not wanting to fuck up my work situation, I passed on them and stuck them in the friend category....Until this other girl started working the other day. She's cool as hell, smart, funny, and very attractive. Ever since she started working there, she's all smiles every time I walk in and what not. She made up a nick name for me today...It seems she could be in to me regardless of her having a boyfriend.
For instance, today after work I stopped at the store to get some gas. There she is coming in behind me at another pump... Then I hear my name and she's like:
Her: Motownnnn, I forgot my ID, could you buy me cigarettes?
Me: How old are you anyway? You even old enough to smoke?
Her: *laughs* YES! I'm 21
So I mess with her a little more while I pump gas, we bullshit, she gives me her money for cigarettes and runs to the store entrance..She walks in the store with me, I pay for her smokes, give her the change back, and we're standing outside...
Her: So, thank you so much..Would you like a smoke?
Me: nah girl,I'm good
Then she started kinda swaying back and forth holding her hands like she was very excited or somewhat nervous
Her: Well if you ever forget your ID, or if you ever need anything else...
Then it was like a 5-7 second silence as we're just staring at eachother lol It was almost an awkward silence..for some reason I kinda froze up. She was all smiles tho, and I smiled back at her and just said I'll see ya tomorrow.
Now of course, as soon as I drove off, about 50 things popped in my head that I could have said lol
But I still felt like a fuckin idiot because I got a strong feeling that during that "silence" she was "wanting" something...or expecting something, but I had nothing to say..
But as for the work situation I hit on earlier, I don't really care about that anymore..So I've been thinking I should go for it...then opportunity knocked.. Plus she has a boyfriend and I usually aim for girls who are single.......So if anybody wana drop some knowledge, wisdom, or advice on the situation, that'd be appreciated..
Just a warning i've had about 6 buddys date someone they work with it never goes bad until their in a actual relationship with them then it eventually falls off and each one complained about having to see that person almost everyday, but anyway if I was in your situation I'd prob neg her (my favorite is to call a girl by her last name has always worked) eventually it will esclate to the point were you need to suggest doing something with her but not coming off as to needy
