So theres this girl I have seen a few times on my morning commute. I caught eye contact once on the train and we kept the eye contact for 2 seconds. I automatically assumed she liked me but she was sitting kind of far...so I didnt approach.
Today, I see her on the bus again and so there were not many seats left so I took the seat beside her. I immediately started talking to her asking if she goes to the same school. I said she looked familier but I couldn't recognize from where ...thats why I asked if she went to my school.
We had a good convo about school and then it drifted to more personal things. There were times where it was awkward, where I didnt know what to say or I didnt want to seem needy by asking too many questions. Those times I just waited and looked at my phone reading an email. And at those times she would try and talk to me and ask me questions. This to me was an indicator of interest (IOI)...
Then later on she asked if I am always this friendly to people. I told her no ... and then she said it was really nice that you came and talked cause some people need somone to talk to. Then she told me about how she had a boyfriend and they were long term. She was telling me negative things like that she wanted to break up with him...and how he annoys her. This was another IOI that I took.... and I told her that maybe she was the one annoying him. Then the next time it got silent, I just said hey give me your number we can hangout sometime at school. And she said sure and she gave me it.
Then while putting her name, I asked her what her last name was but she said she doesnt give last names out. Thats when I felt something fishy was going on. Why wouldnt she give a last name... maybe so that I dont search her on Facebook. I had a feeling then that she thought I was creepy and doesnt want me to know her. After that, I still talked to her normally, but eventually i didnt care anymore. she went on the phone with somone and I was just thinking to my self what did I do wrong... Then when she got off... i didnt talk to her, instead she talked first by saying it was really nice to talk to you. And I told her the same. And I said if she ever needs anyone to talk to I am always there.
She said that was sweet of me.
Then we left the bus and yeah.... I text her like 3-4 hours later saying "hey its _____
" with no reply.
Should I text the number again... what should I say. Dam she was really nice... its not like one of those girls you see at the mall. I really wanted her.
