Especially if (no offence) you are something like a lowly cashier. It's a low value job and it won't really impress many girls.

She was basically calling me out for being a loser cashier and letting me know that she would only be with high value guys who are actually doing something with their lives.
No offence taken, I know what you mean. I'm a currently at university so if that situation occurred I could easily laugh it off and indicate that I'm actually doing something with my life and probably throw a neg back at her. I don't think it's too much of a problem as it's a typical student type job so it would be wrong to assume I'm doing nothing, in fact most people would probably assume the opposite, the job indicates and makes it kind of obvious I'm a typical student working part-time. The job itself involves interacting with customers which eliminates any approach anxiety as you actually have a reason for talking to them and communication is expected.
Any ideas on what approach I should take? It also involves interacting with a lot of older women I probably otherwise wouldn't is there any specific techniques or approaches I could try with them as well?
