Went sarging for the first time last night, crash and burn but no stress. I opened, it went fine, ignored the target though the target did not take anything of the opinion opener. Though, I had no idea at all how to transition into mid-game. There was nothing I could do to neg, to even mention anything as it was a two-set and only one of the girls were talking.

I could of fluffed, but I felt that would of a been a little too direct. What happens when only one person answers your opinion opener and than there is no more "debate" going on? Or should opinion openers only be used with bigger sets and to use a different opener for a two-set?

Why didnt you just look at the other girl and say "what do you think?"

Nerves probably, I wasn't thinking very quickly. I was expecting more of a discussion between the two and such, or her to at least speak. I did look over at her once, but she just had a straight face look on her. I wish I could of just transitioned into a mid-game. How do you even stack when you have an opinion opener? Do you just fluff it up or what?

Yea, you always want to have a contingency so that no matter what the set says or does, you can roll with it. If they don't volunteer the answers, ask them directly "What do you think? And you?" If they are like "I dunno." then say something like "Does your mom not allow you to talk to strangers or something?" Give off the vibe that you think they are being weird for not answering simple questions.

If the initial opinion opener doesn't go well, or if you just want to follow up with something else. Be like "Ok, well then let me ask you this: Who's a bigger diva, Mariah Carey or Nicki Minaj?" Then regardless of what they say, tell them you think Mariah is but she has 20 years of street cred so she has the right to be, and Nicki is just a donkey-butt freak who looks like one of those plastic troll dolls with green hair.
