It is a little more attention-seeking than other things you could send, but in this case you might need to resort to more extreme measures. That will make her even more curious, but also make it seem like you are not just trying to randomly get her attention.

A little update.. I didn`t write her back anything afterwards... And today we saw each other in school in the hallway.. I just normally said hi and then she texted me again saying:"Why are you so in a thoughtful mood?"

You should make something up about your mom or sister being sent to the hospital for some medical condition. And tell her that is the reason you seem so pensive. She's sitting there trying to shit test you because she thinks you are all butt hurt about her rejecting you. Then you tell her some story that makes her think you are not concerned about her at all, but instead someone else. You might even get some sympathy points from her as well.
