I'm not too sure why this is the case, but I seem to see mother daughter two sets very often at the local mall that I frequent. To top that off, the daughter's always a hb 9 or 10 (No cheerleader effect). How would one open a two set like that?

I've tried opening twice, one direct and another indirect. The direct really didnt go too well; it lasted for like a minute and yeah I could feel this was going nowhere. The indirect went on for like 5 minutes but it was really just pointless fluff talk so I ejected as well.

I actually had a successful approach and k close with a two set like that in a club, but I had a wing to talk to the mom while I ran game on the daughter and then "borrowed" the daughter for a couple of minutes.

When I was at that mall yesterday, I saw at least 7 sets with this composition so I think mastery of this is definitely a sticking point to work on.

Any ideas?

It's cliche, but do the "sisters" routine. It's flattering to the mom and she'll be less inclined to cock block or blow you out as you work the set and hit on her daughter. But again, it's like hitting on a girl when she's with her dad...or any parent. It's a little...actually, A LOT, more difficult.

What's the sisters routine is it just making a claim that they look really similar like sisters?! I mean I did try that after opening for the day sets but I still can't see how that bridges the random discomfort and the fact that the daughter will most often relegate to the mother to do the talking..

what kind of routines/closing methods would be most effective here?
