I have this friend of mine who is a cool chick. We have hung out a fair bit recently, and I have known her for a long time. This girl is a legend, but I think she has friend zoned me. I would hang out with her casual, for example, I would go to the university campus and sit with her for an hour and talk, or she would come over and we will pre-drink and go clubbing together (with other friends) etc... I have received some IOI's, however she will go from seeming interested to not caring and being off talking to other guys on and off all night. I think I AFC it after I see her, because i get pumped afterwards because we hung out and it was fun, so I would txt her afterwards and most probably seem desperate or weird. Like txt her just after leaving etc.
Last night we were texting and near the end is where I am pretty sure I know i've been friend zoned. It went like this. Note: she was going to a party for her orientation week at university.
Me: How was your day? Lets get sushi/food soon.
Her: My Day was gooood, just getting all uni stuff organised!! Tightnbright tonight woo!! (Tightnbright is a uni party)
Me: So jealous I want a good O week. Show me your choice in outfit. (she loves fashion and always randomly sends me model shots etc..)
Her:Our o week is pretty pitiful! Compared to like University of Queensland or something
me:We can brag about our favourite food places, ill take you to mine, and vice versa! i love it.
her: what at uni? im confused!!
me: -University of Queensland o week
-Bond University O week (Her university)
- Preschool first week
- Griffith university o week (my university)
her: hahahahahahhahaha!!!!
me: No just normal places. ill take you to my favourite sushi or noodle house, and you take me to your favourite.
her: I dont know my fave place to eat!
me: I have a list of the best food places. We can tick each one off. 10 food places, 10 dates.
her: Thats a lot of food. and dates? what do you mean dates hmm
me:but thats my fave places, yours may vary. And we can call them mutual hang out time periods of refueling our physical well beings, if you like that. I prefer dates, do you?
her: haha well its odd because its us?
me: to be honest its all the same perception to me if that makes sense
her: No it doesnt! im confused now
me: its just chilling out to me enjoying someones company. if it were a 90 year old asian woman from china, or you. except youre way more interesting.

her: oh sorry!! im drinking at the moment and didnt get to reply woooo

I am wondering what I have done wrong, how i can fix it, and how to go about contacting her etc to leave the friendzone. I didnt speak to her all day today as a futile attempt to "freeze" her out.
