After reading The Game and spending a small amount of time reading posts on this forum, I've come to the conclusion that most routines, approaches and openers are not ideal for all age groups. Keeping in mine that the majority of PUA's are 25+ years old, it's quite hard to see most of the techniques working on females around the younger age groups (18-22).

I myself am 20 years old and without pumping my own tyres up, consider myself to do fairly well with women my age. Without spending too much time using routines etc, it seems doubtful that this stuff would work on the girls in my scene. Does anyone else feel as if the majority of the material in this forum is for older women? Has anyone had experience/success with using techniques and methods on younger girls? I often feel reluctant to try things because I feel the girl won't understand what she's experiencing and therefore prefer to use natural game.

I live in Melbourne, Australia and to be honest, I feel as if it would be hard to keep a girl's attention long enough to succeed! Any feedback or discussion would be appreciated!

Game is a very broad range of techniques and tactics that can be used to attract all varieties of women. There is no single standard for gaming.

when you think of picking up chicks as a "game" and looking for routines and canned openers you already lose and wont get any. who cares if your 18, 20 or 36. you can approach any age of women. i pick up girls 20 years older then me and you just have to be yourself.

Picking up chicks isn't a game at all, I feel as if it's a hobby and a privilege. Unless you're out and have a competition with the boys to see who can pull the most, but that's not what I was talking about. What I'm simply saying is that 'canned material' seems unrealistic to use on girls. I've tried showing friends some of the stuff I've seen on youtube or on this forum, and basically the response I get sounds like this: "What the fuck is this shit? As if you would go up to a girl and say that, she would think you're retarted!?"

Peacocking and cheesy lines don't work full stop - people just think you're a wanker. Still trying to find someone who understands what I'm trying to say!

Age never matters man, I've never had a girlfriend of the same age, most of them are few years older than me.

Just be natural, screw lines and routines. Nobody got laid becouse his opening line was awesome!

The game is an old book with old school pick up routines and canned material, new school game is much less predictable, and not scripted, it also is more specific to ones personality, and much more about bettering your self as a person which will carry over not only into picking up women but into your own personal growth and happiness.

Don't use canned openers and pick up lines, your wasting your time. Instead focus on inner game, focus on creating an attractive life style, having passion in your life, and being the best at what it is you do which is very personal (what are your hobbies, whats your career choice, how do you live your life?) that is universal.

Women are women and all have brains and boobs, it does not change at all.

As for age the game still remains that same, value is value, emotions are emotions, the only difference is that at 21 what a women perceives as value might change slightly from a 30 or 40 year old. When a girl is 21 she is looking for the most socially valuable guy, when a women is 30 social value is important but women put much more value on passion, intelligence, and career, because they are looking to settle down and find a provider for their children.

If you want to be generally good with women, pull hotties on a regualr basis and have fun just simply work on your life style, find your passion, give it all you got! and make a career out of it, build inner game, and approach women...this alone will put you above 99% of the men out there.

If your goal is to become a true pick up artist then you need to sacrifice a lot! meaning you need to spend your time studying other pick up artists theories and methods, you need to read about the psychology of women and men, read about self improvement, go out 3 to 5 times a week approaching women, take notes, trying out new techniques, grind it out hard and be willing to make a fool of your self in order to learn, sacrifice relationships with women (most women will be bothered by the fact that your a pua and so keeping a ltr is difficult). Being a true pua is truly a second job, or in some cases a full time one...

Most guys just want to pull a few numbers and get laid from time to time lol if thats the case then just work on your inner game, have passion and learn to have quality conversations with women...this is enough to get your laid on the regular.

The truth is that the tricks and techniques taught by the most popular and sensationalized methods (Mystery Method, stuff from The Game, etc.) just don't work too well in general. It's mostly mental masturbation.
