How do you tell or what do you guys think makes a good coach?
There is so much advertising bs that it's just crazy.

Watch their videos and see if they have the kind of style that you think would suit your personality

Listen to their content and see how they explain concepts

Find reviews from people who have taken training with them

Check out their website and see what their prices are like and how their training works

Find evidence of them actually getting results (facebook photos, LRs, etc)

Add them on facebook and send them a message and find out how their coaching works and if you might be able to get a deal ;)

Implement their advice and TAKE ACTION. That's how you tell if someone is a good coach or not. Anyone can make up a great sounding theory that SHOULD work. But if you put that theory to the test and it doesn't bring results it's worthless. Do the things the coaches recommend you to do and see if their advice lives up to expectations. Testominials are worthless because anyone can pay some guy to write up a good testominial. See if their advice WORKS. That's how you tell who's a good coach.
