Well, he said she already 'wants his D'. At that point, who cares if she knows whether or not he's interested. And truly, who cares what his text says at that point. He just needs to keep her activated long enough to close the deal in person (as you said). That's why I suggested being ambiguous, further her confusion. No reason to directly state your intentions until you plan to close the deal in person.
