HER: Why where we going? (its like what the fuck? didn't we just agree on dinner? you short termed memory stupid bitch)

ME: Dinner!

Her: I can't tonight...im such a busy bee now cause school started. study time

I mean that information about your interactions with this girl before or since might provide some clarity. That's what I mean by context.

In my opinion you should've never asked if grandma can watch her little girl & just told her what place & what time you'd pick her up and basically already assuming that it would just be you and her. When you asked if Grandma could watch her little girl you turned on the logical side of her and she further thought about the hangout.
