Alright, so I've been friends with this one girl for a while now (she's super gorgeous HB10) and while we've never really hanged out, I never thought of making a move on her (well I have, but I pussied out). I just went to clubs, since that seemed to be obligatory. But the day before New Years eve, a mutual friend told me that she thinks I'm cute. So that day, I ask my target for her number, and I get it. We were both in a hurry, so I just told her to give me her number and she did.
Come New Years eve, a couple of friends and I went to this party and I called her. She came up, and honestly, she was kind of drunk. She could barely stand up straight, and she had a headache the whole time and kept looking at the floor and cupping her head in her hands. So when I tried running game on her, she was pretty unresponsive, and I don't think I got a single IOI. When I tried to get in close, she would just back off into the wall, and I calibrated to that and pulled back. The next time I tried to get close, she also backed up. My question is, could I have really done something productive, with a person that's so drunk, or did I run the game all wrong?

This. I remember that exact same thing happening to a mate of mine a while back. When they are that drunk you might as well forget it for that night. And there`s no such thing as failure, only feedback. You can still do it!
