In the past from what I heard from her friends she has cheated. Altho this could be bullshit as she liked feeling sexy. She told me she cheated on me which was impossibly because she spent every night in my bed and all day texting me shit like "You never text back quick enough" and "Can I come see you tonight baby, I miss you already
" then bring me food at work and such.
So at the beginning of the christmas period I decided to message my ex girlfriend from a year ago. We'd broken up mutually but had both been upset about it/had arguments about it (we both went to uni and didn't want to do LDR but we both got angry when the other first got with someone) So anyway heres the chat log. There's mild IOI that she keeps throwing my way.
Me: Hey, no time no speak. Its xmas and you know how rare it is for me to be nice, just wanted to apologise if I was ever a douche to you and I'm happy for you and your new fella. Have a good one <I didn't even expect a response, I was merely being sincere.
Her: *gasp* Are you giving me a compliment...thats unheard of!

Me: I agree that a christmas drink should happen. When I have money would be good.
Her: When will that be?
Me: We'll see, if you're lucky Grace might come <Grace is a friend I met this girl through. She ended up hating her because she didn't like how close friends me and Grace were.
Her: Fair enough, I tried talking to her she didn't seem that bothered lol
Me: Yeah thats whats shes like these days, have a good xmas. <I wanted to end the convo as I was busy with another chick.
Her: You not seen much of her then? I'll try to have a drink between shifts at work lol
Me: Nah she's boring these days.
Her: Oh i saw those Megan and Josie in town the other day, you still friends with them? <More girls she hated me knowing as me and Megan flirted a lot.
Me: Yeah, my housemates don't exactly like them tho. (My housemates are average to high girls, meg and josie have been offered modelling contracts in the past so they have sticks up their arses)
Her: awww tbh they aren't the kind of girls other girls like.
Me: You guys weren't the best of friends.
Her: Only cos you flirted with them all the time! They're both quite threatening because they are so pretty.
Me: Really. I find them so unthreatening, they're so stupid!

Her: Being home alone with no food is both sad and scary!

Her: I just checked all the rooms in my house...still freaky stuff tho. I can handle myself, much fitter these days. I got so fat when I was with you...I blame your cooking skills.
Me: My Chicken noodles are still the best.
Her: I still think about them to this day.
Me: Thats the effect my cooking has.
Her: I've forgotten about your lack of hygiene tho

Anyway we didn't message till after christmas, I do want to see her because it would be nice but I don't want to A) be caught up in mindgames from an ex B) make her think I want her because her bf is a decent guy C) I would bang her but I'm not interested emotionally anymore.

Anyway I've left it there, basically I just want to know whats going on here. I do want to bang her but not whilst shes with her bf. Should I just leave it DHV myself with girls at uni. Get laid, game other girls and when she becomes single send her a neg or two or should I just abandon that plan altogether and just meet her for drinks. I think we would get on well.
