My body language is usually slumped, goofy and I flail my arms a lot, like my body being really heavy or pulled down. I don't stare at the ground but In my classroom I do a weird jump, flailing my lefs upwards and I land my buttocks on the chair. I feel comfortable with my classmates so I tend to "Let myself go". I make a good ragdoll. But It takes me a good amount of concentration to keep my body language intact.

this problem persists and I must get rid of it. Do you guys know the correct body language? The Alexander technique perhaps?

There are plenty of articles here on textbook body language, of which I have absorbed and used to morph my own presence and the manner in which I carry myself.

I was about to recommend an article, but I noticed you had replied to it, which tells me you have some knowledge on the optimal body language for a man.

In short, since you are aware of how to present yourself, (slow movements, no slouching, take up space etc), you now must slowly hardwire that through consistent practice until it becomes habitual. Work on emulating the positive body language traits until they are second nature. At the start I was aware, but it would be fleeting when I attempted to apply. Through application it became ingrained, and I did it subconsciously. That's how I came, saw, and conquered.

Interesting. I've gotten comments that I look arrogant while doing it. Is that part of the whole thing?

Starts with good posture. First thing in the morning get up and stand with your heels and back against the wall. The back of your head and shoulders probably won't be touching the wall. Now press backwards until your shoulders and head touch the wall. Keep the back of your head on the wall as you angle your chin down. This will cause your chest to swell out and you will now be displaying good posture, although slightly exagerated. This will elongate your spine and keep you from slouching and tilting your head back giving you that ugly gooseneck look. As your day progresses, do this several times to "refresh" your posture. It will start to create muscle memory and eventually you won't need the wall, you'll just be able to inhale and correct your posture as you're standing there. Obviously, you'd want to do this right before approaching a set so you have great posture going into it.
