Okay this may come across as an obvious question but why do girls freeze out guys after either they have been rejected or vice versa. I can understand if there is a chase and it becomes tiring, to a point where a freeze out is the best option to remove a clingy orbiter.

However i have been baffled a few times by this from personal experience and others i know.
I initiated a text conversation with an recent ex, i know its a big no no, but i have started seeing other girls (enjoying single life), the break up was very smooth and mutual (LDR didn't work out) and it was a gut feeling to check up on her because her close family member died just before the break up and even though i don't want to get back with her but she was supportive to me through hard times.

Well the conversation was pretty dull on her behalf and i told her that me not contacting her wasn't out of dislike but i wanted to cut it clean. Her response and lack of response was a dull three worded reply no conversation.
Now i am purely bringing this up as an example, I'm sure she is not initiating conversation because she no longer has attraction and probably believes i am sleeping with her enemy from her old friend, regardless i don't want to get back with her, so its not one of those threads.

But it got me thinking on how women freeze out guys who they have rejected or vice versa, even if the male in question demonstrates high value, also to the point when they are rude. This confuses me more when it comes to people you have had sex with, surely a woman's biological response is not to be so quick to freeze out a guy she has had sex with, to the point of no return. Personally myself i find it hard to cut off completely from anyone who i have been intimate with for a while. It seems like women are more like men nowadays in the sense that they are less obliged to keep in contact with someone they are intimate with, i.e. have sex with someone or in a relationship then leave after without saying anything. I suppose gender roles have reversed lol.

A true freezeout is simply a punishment for doing something the other person disapproves of. However, freezeouts can often be misinterpreted. Sometimes an iod is seen as a freezeout, when in actuallity the woman is just ignoring you or blowing you off because she doesn't like you. The other possibility is that the freezeout is a shit test. She is testing you to see how you react and if you'll maintain your frame or become all needy and whiny.

In what circumstances should be challenged, the majority of the time i take it as a sign to just ignore them myself, however if its a shit test, challenging it back could be productive right ?
