So I've been single for nearly a decade, taking a vow of the non-relationship variety. Some people look at relationships like having a cinder block around your neck, I look at it like having a flaming cinderblock that attracts pissed-off killer bees around your neck. Especially the buzzing lol

So here's the things that puzzle me beyond belief: COCKBLOCKING. Ladies, why? WHY do they do this? A woman wants to have sex with a man. He wants to have sex with her. They're grown adults who make their own decisions. WHY does her less-attractive friends try to throw a monkey wrench and stand between me and a good time? Jealousy? Can't handle their booze so they want to ruin somebody ELSE'S night? Do I look like a rapist because I DON'T, I've never even wore a moustache or a Brett Rothlesberger jersey. I. Just. Don't. Get it.

The other thing is the women who don't bring purses to the bar. Is a woman with the megalomaniacal attitude that she simply deserves to have everything bought by strangers for her all night even worth my time? It almost feels like soliciting and I'm not even that fond of buying people I KNOW drinks.

Dawg I have that problem all the damn time! If you're flyin solo then this can be a tough situation. In my life it usually works best if you act like you're tryin to close all those females at the same time. Be funny and shit. Don't try to get your target alone rigbt away. If you just put on a front like you just be there to chill and bullshit the ugly friends will let their gaurd down, and might even become your wingmen. Telling your target that you seem like a really nice guy and shit. Also you might have to break down and buy a round for the table. But bars are always havin some special on girl friendly shots. 2 dollar lemon drops make you look like you generous and shit, but don't cost that much. Its a pretty cheao way to get in good with a whole table of people that cab make or brake your hook up.

I agree you 100%, their is nothing more annoying than a 'cockblocker' getting in the way of a good time. It happens to all of us at some point in time. The 'not so smart PUA's' go home and post silly threads like this one,i.e., complain, and the smart ones ask 'why?' and more importantly, go through the steps to see what went wrong.
I'm not going to go through all the possible reasons, however I will provide a starting ground:
1. Did you make yourself known to the 'cockblocker'?
2. Were you playful and inclusive in your activities throughout the night, or did you exclude the 'cockblocker'?
3. More importantly, as the Alpha Male, it is your job to neutralize the 'cockblocker'. What I mean by this is that if the 'cockblocker' is rude, you have to put them in their place. If they bored, you have to help them enjoy the night. If they are single, you have to help them hook up.
Now you're probably asking yourself 'why is it my responsibility to take care of the cockblocker'? Well it is your responsibility because you want to fuck the girl that would be doing all these things if it were not for you. There is a reason while girls always go out in groups of two or more, and it is because they are not very independent, and therefore require support in social situations. When you take away a girl from her friend, you are literally threatening the 'cockblockers' support system. That is mainly why they look at you so threatening (and why most cockblockers are so insecure).

Mind you, I do realize they are several other possibilities I have left out, i.e., mother hens in particular,however I can honestly say if you plan on taking a girl away from her friend, you better be able to fill the void you're making with something positive, otherwise the friend will do everything in her powers to cockblock you.

First of all, female cockblocking is called twat blocking. I won't even go as far as to say specific reason why they do it. The only thing you need to know is that they have an agenda of some kind in which twatblocking fits into it. Figure out their motives for doing it, then react accordingly.

Also, women don't bring purses to bars/clubs because A) they could get stolen easily, and B) they are cumbersome to carry around and dance with. They still have to carry their ID's and probably a credit card or a few dollars to at least buy their first round of drinks.

Can you give us some specific examples that have worked for you? I tried letting a dorky looking cock blocker play with my PSP while I hit on her friend, it didn't work well.

Specifically, I always dance around and make sure the group is on my vibe level. Letting go of your target, to dance with her friend for a few minutes is not the end of the world. Maybe the problem is your personality. No offense but why not try to ask yourself first. Also accept the fact that you need to invest effort, time to be better at this game. Why not ask some of your buds who are good with it. There's always room for improvement for yourself dude, don't blame everything to girls.
