It can only get bigger, its not gonna get smaller or fade away.

The best counter to this is to work your way off the "training wheels" as quickly as possible. Internalize the game and use you own material and things will be no different.

I noticed the portions on myspace for the new book and such too, and at first was a little worried...but not soo much now that i think about it.

very true, but canned lines aren't going to work anymore. The strong will live on because they can adapt. which is really what being a PUA is all about, to me.

I wouldn't worry about it, I have women who open me and try to hit on me over my PU myspace (listed below)... where I come right out and say that I'm a Pickup Artist.

Think of it as a DHV and act accordingly, and it will be.

Exactly thats what u do . .this shit isn't to lie to them simply just tell them what you do and they can take it or leave it you are a high value male . . who cares if she does not want to be apart of your social circle

its all confidence either you have it or are learning it or your sitting on the sidelines wondering why the other guys get the woman and no amount of books or promotion will ever change that. I think its good for some guys to know this stuff if they use it you can lead a horse to water but you cant force it to drink

Yeah, I guess the main reason I don't like this going this mainstream is because I'm still not confident enough with my own game. I just get pissed off at the idea of all these Myspace assholes who are already ten times more confident than me tripling their game.

Being a pick up artist is who I am, i'm knee deep in the game and I can't turn back now

Its getting more mainstream everyday but im not worried. In fact if the book Game had never been written I wouldnt be here. Most of the guys who see the shows or myspace vids dont give a crap. Most people are just posers anyway. They buy a skateboard and use it for a week. They buy a new game and play it for a week. Being a PUA is different because you dont neccessarily buy anything, you have to actually be something.

Yeah I know "Pickup is what you do, NOT who you are!". You are a pick-up artist when you do it though. To become a PUA you have to read, think and practice. Usually none of those things are fun so 99% of the people dont get into it seriously.

(edit: I dont consider myself a PUA while having achieved nothing serious in 2 months. However most people i know would have given up already)
