So! I have a big convention coming up in a few months, I've gone for the last 9 years.

Last year was my first year "gaming" the convention; and I managed to F-Close 3 women (2 HB8's and a HB7) within the 3 days the convention was being held. Last year was far from my first year in the game; but it was the first year I had my own room (I recently had a rather substantial income increase).

Last year, I also didn't stay at the convention's "sponsored" hotel where the convention takes place, I stayed at one kitty corner from it (incredibly close; it's less than 5 minutes walking distance). I stayed there because I registered late, and the house hotel had already been booked up. To my delight, this hotel, was MUCH nicer than the one the convention was held at; the rooms were much more luxurious and the service was better.

Here's my dilemma...

I have the option of either hotel this year since I'm registering in advance. There are advantages and disadvantages to both; both are considered 'luxury' hotels.

OPTION #1 - CONVENTION HOTEL

ADVANTAGES: The main sticking point I'm having here is that the convention literally takes place in the hotel. I would have a massive proximity advantage; and I could take girls to the room more readily, and saying "oh, can we go grab something out of my room really quickly?" sounds a lot better than "I stay in the hotel across the street" and saying the same thing; it almost provokes the "just call me when you get back response".

DISADVANTAGES:

1). Not as nice as the other option;
2). Since this is a convention with costumes; I run the risk of having the girl constantly have to stop for photo ops. on the way back to the room; (so lots of distractions/obstacles).
3). Also risk running into people I/she knows (I'm a bit "popular" among the people here)

OPTION 2 - ADJACENT HOTEL

ADVANTAGES:

1). This hotel is nicer, and although I'm not concerned with the price, it's also cheaper.
2). I could avoid obstacles and parties in the surrounding rooms; less opportunity distractions.

DISADVANTAGES

1). It's across the way; and may present a logistical issue (I know, not really, but it's not as easy). I feel like it.

So I'm sure I'm forgetting things, but that's my basic dilemma. Like I said, proximity is huge. Maybe I'm making a big deal out of this; but if the girl is with a group I feel like it would be easier for her to tell her friends "we're gonna run up and grab something out of his room and we'll be right down" than "we have to run across the street...etc".

Which would you choose and why?

I'll be sure to. In the future, I'd recommend being a bit more hesitant and think before you post. Although it's humorous, it's rather juvenile.

I thought it was funny, but it doesn't serve much other purpose to most people other than to blatantly display that you're trolling. Intelligent responses are preferable; and the humor might as well contain some intelligence as well.
