I usually only open through FB when I had met someone at a party or event and had to leave immediately and did not have time to grab a number.
I decided to try and open on FB HB's who had 10 or more mutual friends (even though I have never met them).
Added one yesterday then messaged today and tried, "I hearrd something about you". She replied "What do you mean?"
I can usually think of something funny to say or transition to, but I am a little stumped.

Curious on your guys imput.

"I heard that you suck dick like a vacuum cleaner."

"I heard that you're an archeologist." Later: "I've got a large bone to examine."

"I heard you sleep around a lot, so I wanted to sign up."

she replied again with "seriously...what?"

Seriously man? You tell a girl you heard something about her all she asks is what and you are stumped.

Since you don't actually know this girl you can't be sending her the above douche/awkward/wierd/creepy lines (you can do that stuff after the close)

For now, just be normal with a little edge.

"Actually I haven't really heard shit/anything about you. That's my way of breaking ice with a complete stranger (yes say that). Saw you know some people I do n thought you'd be a good addition to my friends list (wink, smiley, no smiley)." whatever your style is.

I was thinking of something along the lines of: well looks like it's broken now. Or "You know what, I don't care much for ice. (insert change of subject here)"

This situation is pretty much done I'd say. Maybe just say "Ok, hope you're ready for it" and then if/when you see her in person actually have something ready this time.

"Ya I kinda realized it wasn't cuz I had absolutely nothing to say to you about you when you asked. I had to come clean, but I do think we should change that so make sure you say hi when you see me."
