I work at an ice cream store at the mall. Many many many attractive girls hang out at the mall. Some even come buy ice cream at the store i work at. We only have one employee during weekdays and few customers.but to the question at hand ... Is it possible to hit on girls who come in to buy ice cream. What would be some subtle lines that would have less chance of getting me fired. I'm notreally looking to slay mass amounts of hb through my ice cream shop but being able to pull some numbers get in to some relations, i feel would really improve my quality of life lol. Just ask what ice cream they want, while you're getting the ice cream just make some small talk like ask what plans have they got for the weekend/afternoon or how last weekend went. Use the tone of your voice, facial expressions and body language. Try and make them laugh; and in my opinion try not to make it too sexual just in case they get offended or they complain to your manager unless you want to risk it which is completely up to you.

For example, what I've done in the past ( I work in retail ) was start with asking bout what they're up to on the weekend and before they reply i say they seem like bit of the party animal and bet they're hitting the clubs this friday/saturday. We'll talk bout clubs and end up planning to meet there. That's just what I say, try and make them laugh or something to leave an impression

But then again I am still pretty newbie in my opinion

Make it seem like you are doing them a favor and hook them up with something for free. "Normally we charge for sprinkles, but since you're cute I'll throw it on there for free."

Be really sociable and friendly, try to get some names. Then be like "Sara, I'm working tomorrow you should come up here and see me again." Try to establish some sort of one on one connection, use her name, and see if you can get to know her over a period of time.

You can always lie and tell them some dramatic story to captivate them. "Did you guys see that guy running through the mall?! No? I guess he was shoplifting and security tackled him and arrested him right in front of Hot Topic!" It's the same bit as the "fight outside the bar" used during nightgame.
