I think anything along the lines of "isn't that the point, stalkers generally don't talk to you either" or something similar would work
once I said hi to a girl i had met a few times but didn't know very well, she responded with "hey creeper"
I just said "How are you", not as if I was oblivious, but as if I couldn't care less, and she didn't bring it up again.

at the end of the day it was probably a shit test and even if it was a neg it's still kind of a shit test.

Basically what do we all do when shit like this happens,
Duck/Dodge/Dive/ or IGNORE

you didn't have to come up with any witty remarks, you could have just ignored her/the comment and carried on with the thread of your conversation.

People need to stop overthinking.
