Right. It's very rare to be called out for using scripted lines. And if it happens, boo hoo, that's just one set. Move on and don't worry about it.
What is much more common is being called out simply for trying pick up a girl. Whether you go indirect or direct, you telegraph interest and it becomes clear that you approached the set out of the blue because you are trying to pick them up. Sometimes they will call you out on that. This is particularly common in daygame because women are not expecting to be picked up.
As far as I know, there is really no way to cover this up once she calls you out on it. It helps if you have a wing or a good cover story for being there, but I'm wondering what some good responses to that call out would be?
This is all true, but I don't mind if a girl calls me out for trying to pick her up, because I AM trying to pick her up. In order to get in her pants I need to demonstrate sexual interest in her, so she should know at some point that I am trying to pick her up. There's nothing wrong with that.
Actually most of the time, you should get it out on the table that you are trying to pick her up before she even has a chance to call you out for it.
