so i would be pretty lame to start my first post with a field report, so here it is.
FR-1: 11-23-12 Night Game
(not sure how to format a field report but whatever)
(1) shooting pool at a bar with a guy friend. see a HB7 across the room with a guy. broke the 3 second rule, hell, if it was a 15 minute rule i broke it. about 5 beers in (i will state here that i know it ALWAYS fucks my game up to drink, but its what i do at bars, and as i continue to work on my game, i will drink less and less). so the guy walks away (deff not ready to open mixed sets, not even sure if 1 guy 1 girl is a "mixed set") and i go ask her "is that your brother or your boyfriend?" -not sure why said that, but it was better than running away. she says "ex-boyfriend, just friends" i say "thats weird. well im [neXXXt] and you are really cute" she says thanks, and as the guy is walking back i say "well i dont want to get beat up so i'm walking away now" she says "you can come shoot pool with us if you want" i say "i'll think about it" and walk away. i realized afterwards i barely maintained any eye contact, which i was dissapointed in. and obiously i didnt close at all, proll should've accept her invite. oh, well, neXXXt>>
(2) second bar, saw a friend of a friend i sort of know (HB8.5), guess that doesn't really count, but i started just being honest with her and saying how i thought she was cute, and the convo was going well but then her friend pulled her away. neXXXt>>
(3) saw a guy and HB7.5 trying to take a picture of themselves with a phone, i said to the guy i could take the pic for him and he handed me the phone. i took a few pics and he surprisingly said that he wanted to take a pic of me and the girl. so i asked if it was his gf and he said no. so he took a pic, and i started talking to the girl, asking name, college, etc. proll not good pua intro, but then i asked if she wanted to drink on the patio where it was quieter to talk more. she said yes and we go out there and sit on the bench, a few of my buddies come over and chat, then i tell her i'm freezing and she's shivering, and i put my arm around her and pull her close and say "keep me warm". things were going well so i said "can i kiss you?" and she said no. proll couldve worded that better (as in "what would you say if i kissed you right now"). i said "just one small little tiny kiss?" she said no. so we talked more and her guy friend invited me to a party they were going to. i declined, not sure why, i was sort of scared/nervous and i was there with my buddy i couldn't leave him. i should've said yes. so they left and i stayed at the bar. neXXXt>>>
(4) saw 2 girls, HB6 and HB8, outside the bar as me and my buddy were leaving. i said "omg you two are hot" with about 7 cuss words mixed in. then i said, "i'm so sorry about my language. let me re-phrase. you two ladies are very pretty." then the HB8 said "so are you". i said "really? i dont hear girls say that to me often, are you sure?" she says "yes". then the other girl says "we are gonna go get food and go home to eat it, do you want to join" i say "of course" but then for whatever reason my buddy pulls me away and says lets go home and we walk away. YES, worst wing-man ever. this morning i was like "dude, i had 2 occasions of girls invite me to leave with them and you stopped me from both times". oh well, he's still my dear friend. neXXXt>>
i deff saw a lot of other hot girls out, but those were the only 4 i was brave enough to talk to.
so thats it. no numbers, no kisses, and obviously no lay. proll could've gotten all 4 numbers if i would have asked, but i was kinda like a deer in the headlights. i know i got a lot of work to do. i'm not sure if this field report was too much detail, i guess i was hoping for feedback or what i could've done differently. i know it was a lame and boring FR, but i guess i gotta start somewhere. tonight i will try at it again
