Ok so I have been talking to a girl and I already made multiple dumb mistakes, I got her number over facebook, called to ask her out and she immidiatley said she was busy and had to talk to me later. So here is the conversation i had in text message maybe you guys can let me know to leave her alone or keep trying?

me: I called to ask if you wanted to go with me to the carnegie natural history museum I have to write a paper for my class the place.

her: thanks for the invite but im seeing someone.

me Ok fair enough i leave you be then bye.

her: lol okay sorry

me: Yea i thought you two broke up

her: Yes we did

me: oh so you already found another

me: or are you lieing

her: haha no reason to lie about anything

Granite she just got out of long relationship, I mean it seams that i should probably just move on, but the complicated part is what confuses me.

-you asked her out to a history museum as a first date?! you kidding me? thats some boring shit man, you think this will get her excited? how do you think she will view you after being asked this?

-you said you'll be there any time she needs someone?... you dont even know the chick... and your already Dr. Phil?! .... major AFC move... dont be a problem solver until you at least have some sort of intimate relationship together or most likely end up as a friend, if even that.

-The long term relationship she got out of doesnt mean shit, if anything she's probably looking for a rebound... you just pulled some major AFC shit though.. but you know what, its alright.... im guessing your either very young , or inexperienced with girls.

Text her in a couple days to a week with some funny cocky shit. Make her laugh, Neg her, and make her excited to want to see you... be flirtatious. Say some sexual things( not right away ), shes gotta see you as some sort of a prize, or pleasure to keep in her life, or it wont work. Dont show her your so interested in her, but rather just looking to have fun. Basically do pretty much the opposite of everything your thinking of doing right now lol....

That was pretty AFC, I have to say. Although I'm confused as to why she'd give you her number if she didn't like you, but then again, I number close girls all the time who have no intention of calling me or going out with me again. I think it's easier for them to just give you their number and hope you don't call, rather than telling you to get bent right then and there.

Trying to win over some girl who is focused on another guy or in a relationship can often be pointless and exasperating, and even moreso if you haven't done anything to build rapport with her. If you had done things right earlier on, then she'd at least toy with you for a while or lead you on and be flirty, even if she was still seeing somebody else. Every aspect about how she responded to you tells me she is not interested in you in the slightest. Forget that this girl ever existed bud. Time to move on.
