| Howdy all, I have a odd situation and was hoping for some help. What I'm doing lately is working great, and I want to know what it is so I can keep doing it.
Friday I had a date with a girl I think might take a while to close with who I've sort of had a thing for for a while. Normally I wouldn't put in the effort but she lives in a really cool little area out of state and I think Long Distance Girl will let me vacation at her place.
Saturday I went out to dinner with a large number of acquaintances, and we broke up into little groups just to not be yelling across the room. My little group consisted of a married AFC who seemed mad I might hook up (I've always treated his wife & daughter like my grandma, never been anything but nice/totally cool with everyone we both know he just seems to hate me but whatever it worked out), gay republican dude who is way weirder then he sounds, hot mixed black/white girl, girl I have hooked up with before but who sort of doesn't like me, and tall blond girl who is pretty hot but had something weird on her lip. I don't know that the thing on her like was the herp but why take chances?
I chatted up Lip Girl because she is off limits and therefore she is safe to talk with. She seemed to be flirting with Gay Republican (I don't think she noticed?), and I just acted like that was no biggie and kept flirting, and was polite to everyone else.
It works like a charm, when we are all leaving it takes about 3 seconds for Hooked Up Before to leave with me. She tells me how she can't resist me and all that jazz and we messed around. Added bonus later that night, we all Facebook friend each other and I let Mixed girl chat me up and in the end went to her house for a f-close. I think that is the term?
Today I was super tired, and busy with other stuff. Hooked Up girl was supposed to come over but said she was sick (I believe her, since she threw up last night without drinking after we got done messing around and was still willing to come over) and asked permission to beg off so I let her since she said she was still willing to come over. Long Distance girl was asking when would be good for me to call her since she wanted to make sure she could take it, and the hottest girl I ever almost hooked up with but didn't messaged me out of the blue about hanging out so I'm counting it as a win.
My question is what should I do next? Look for common behaviors/events with this and field test them to see if the results work? Count it as good luck and just start with the basics? Both? Just keep my eyes open and ride out the wave?
