Guys,

A girl I've been texting has been pretty flirty, but then when I suggested drinks together, she said straight up "I'm not interested."

If she's been flirty & shown slight signs of interest previously, should I assume she's just playing me? Basically, if a girl says not interested, I suppose I should just assume that she genuinely isn't, and let it go?

Thoughts?

There's more to it than you are giving us. No girl would ever give IOIs and be friendly with you and then say "I'm not interested". There's something relevant missing here. But either way, you could reply with:

"What are you interested in then?"
"What, you don't like guys or something?"
"Not interested in drinks, or not interested in me?"
"Ah, you have a boyfriend. Gotcha."

Straight away she said that, I texted back saying :

"So you don't fancy me?"

And as I remember, she texted "not interested" again. I said to myself that it's game over & she's a cock-tease. I don't play games & waste my time with girls like that who don't know what they want! So I deleted her Facebook & phone number straight away! Not really worth bothering with, to be honest!
