I think you handled it fairly well, but maybe you were being a little too vague about what you were doing - Unless you demonstrated to her you were doing something rather boring.
I like to find the most crappiest thing on TV I can find and pretend its my favourite show as I freeze her out - Then see if she reinitiates (its difficult for me to say in your case if it was LMR or not).

Just ensure you don't jump through her hoop with that text, all she did it for was to try get a reaction out of you.
