I was talking to two girls tonight and then one of them pulled out her phone and was like to the other one: "Oh my God he cut his hair!" and I had to stand there awkwardly as they talked about him. What should I do next time?

be leading the convo, if you don't know what to say, then figure out what you would like to talk about and solve that issue, if they start a thread that sucks, cut the thread and start another one

if they will not pay attention and are looking for anything to talk about together to ignore you, they probably don't want anything to do with sleeping with you and don't like you that much

Thats nothing new, women have been doing that forever. Sometimes it can mean they could care a less about you and are not hiding it, but it can also be a shit test, to see if you get jealous, and start to talk shit about the guy they are talking about.

Hey, if you were to pull out a cell phone and start talking about a girl, it would be a great DHV, and be a way of showing you are not needy and worried about doing everything right with the girl thats there.

Might be women doing the same thing, looking to appear more wanted than you think and make you work.

Also, alot of times the "friend" girl can be a pain in the ass. She doesnt want to be standing there alone all night and does things to distract the other girl so they dont get split up.

could be a myriad of things, would have needed to be there to know for sure.

I love this question, I typically see the box of replies that you could give and go completely out of it. In that situation I would have pulled out my phone and loaded just a random picture from my images... maybe a picture of a coffee because that's my job and i'd shove it in there face and say;

'That's nothing, check out the swan on my latte I had today'

from there it could go a few ways, most likely she'll look at you funny, maybe the friend with the phones just trying to protect her friend, she'll most likely get you to justify why you whipped your phone out... but to be honest whatever the reaction you go was at least you've got an in with the distraction.

Alot of people will give you typical game lines but to be honest why not try something new and spur of the moment. Show her a pattern on your socks and say you though it was sharing time or something... try different things because that's how you learn...
