Hi guys,

Quick question on getting drunk and still being able to perform socially and with women. I'm at college so not getting drunk is next to impossible on a night out but 80% of the time it will make me too forward (WAY too much 'pull', little/no 'push') (and overconfident). I'll talk only to girls I want to take home (usually 8+s) which of course is a bad move. I'm always able to analyse exactly how I fucked up the morning after but I just find it difficult to remain composed and able to game properly whilst drunk.

The obvious answer is to reduce the amount I drink sure, but I just wondered what peoples' general opinions/tactics/ways of dealing with being drunk and gaming and how to remain composed and focused.

Thanks guys

P.s. I have success when sober, lol - but my 'drunk' game hurts my chances when I'm sober with the same women...

The answer is in your question but I know where you're coming from and I have the same problem.
The only real solution is just to ease off the booze a little if you want to stay consistent with women - but that doesn’t mean you shouldn't still be having a good time.

* Perhaps something like for every two drinks you normally have, skip one or have a soft drink.

* Switch to a drink that has a lower alcohol content, some beers are much stronger than others.

* Avoid mixing beer/shots etc. - This can be a killer combo as it can get you drunk much faster.

* Or start the night off pre-drinking in the house or get that buzz earlier on in the night, but you'll will need some etiquette to sober up a little later on when you start scouting for potential HB's you want to take home.

In short, you know you can play the field, the only thing harming your chances will be yourself, so you'll need to consider which has more precedence for that evening’s entertainment - Getting wasted or getting laid.

Nowadays I tend to be more of a social drinker as opposed to getting wasted every weekend, I've even gone out as designated driver for the night TOTALLY SOBER and had some good success but the approach is a little more... exhilarating :P - Its all about balance and knowing your limits.

Thanks man. Think cutting down on the booze is most probably the only way forward for me as you say. So tempting to drink and drink and drink though! Let's see where it goes from here.

I had a problem of being too straight forward when drunk first week of my freshman year. Within the next week, two girls on separate occasions started giving me shit. When I asked why, both said that I said this phrase: "I'm too drunk to find my room, can I sleep with you tonight?" Of course, I don't remember any of this. Now I limit myself to a few beers and feel perfect. I'd suggest you do something similar.

there is nothing wrong with being straight forward just don't be cheesy about it. Drunk game should come easy because you're in a relaxed social environment and everyone just wants to have a good time. liquid courage shouldn't hurt your chances if its in moderation
