Ok guys, HB9 hits me up on FB. Begins off super interested and sending long msgs on FB telling me about herself etc. I cut it off as Im at work and tell her to drop me her number and we will continue this later. She give it to me straight away.

Next stage I decide to set up a date. We agree to catch up Sat morn at the beach for a run and coffee.

Next day she texts saying

HER: "Sat would have to be very early around 7am, if I get up and I have to be on my way by 10am for my housemates bday". (shes running my game against me haha)

Then she sends another text saying
HER: "maybe early sunday morn instead?".

(Im already getting annoyed and feeling a flake come one). I leave it for a few hours and ring her she doesn't answer. Then an hour later she texts saying,

HER: "Sorry I cant talk im on the front desk at work".
I do not reply for 4 hours to see if she'd ring, she doesn't.

I then ignore it and text

ME: "ok since we are both busy on the weekend lets catch up friday night in the city and grab a drink".

HER: "that sounds great"

We set it for 8pm and I leave it at that.

Friday morn she sends me a text saying

HER: "I cant make it tonight Im wayyy to busy this weekend can we make it during the week " (this is like half a flake as she is at least suggesting a reschedule)

I do not reply for an hour then say.

ME: "OK but Im on afternoon shift for the next 8 days so you might be lucky to catch me".

HER: (immediately replies) "How about a morning run or coffee then?"

I wait 30mins to reply

ME:"I have a few hours Tuesday morn. Ill meet you at the beach at 8am and will grab a coffee and go for a run"

SHE (immediately) "I ll have to check my roster but sounds good"

ME: "ok miss noncommital"
(giving her sh3t for her response which she has given herself a way out if needed, possible flake again)

SHE ";)"

I leave it at that and will wait for her to reply re her roster etc over the next few days. I am still going for a run on Saturday morn at the beach and will post a pic that I did on FB, show her what she missed

So what do you think, is she flaking or being shy or generally busy? and did I play this right?

Chicks flake for many reasons. Comfort, BF in the back ground, work, family, menstrual cycle, who the fuck knows what else.

Just go on with your life like it's no big deal. Look for other pussy. Continue your pace, keeping her on a back burner.

I think it's good that you're showing you're a busy guy. However, I think your last response was lacking in assertiveness. Basically, you are still waiting on her to confirm or cancel at her leisure. In fact, by calling her 'noncommittal' you have given her a legitimate excuse to cancel again (I think the wink signals that she doesn't find 'noncommittal' a negative personality trait). Setting a time constraint on her confirmation could have shifted the balance of power back to you. If she keeps cancelling because she's busy, a strategy may be to frame the time with you as getting away from her busy life, not just another activity in it.
