The 3 day rule is bullshit.. It's too long and is not as effective..
Here is a rule I follow --> If you meet her on saturday night, CALL HER( not text) on monday morning or noon and see if she is down to hang out, etc..
Basically wait 1-1.5 days to get in contact with the girl and not earlier as you don't want to seem needy..
However, sometimes you might sense that she is giving heavy IOIs or she seemed that kind of girl who wants to be fucked hard! Well, those girls call them same night and see if they want to after party..

All these different suggested rules, does calibration not come in here?

All these rules are pointless coming from people with little experience, e.g. one guy said i texted straight away ONCE and she texted back, therefore he has a rule on it - thats how to get laid, other people saying this guy in a book said this therefore it's true! Errrrrrrr........ and 4.3 days what the fuck is that?

Apologies for attacking people, but you should realize the lack of knowledge in their posts.

I'm going to be a massively hypocritical here but follow these 'rules', they are not rules just common sense (plus rules are nice and simple to remember and understand).

1. Save your number in their phone in the interaction.

2. Call within a couple of days.

3. Keep phone calls (and text interactions) short and to the point (of getting a day2), it gives you less time to fuck up. Exception is if you have great phone game and can be wonderful, charming, funny etc. over the phone.

4. Chase up your numbers, e.g. call multiple times, with a few days in between, and different times.

If you wait longer the girl may forget you, often they say they do over the phone, just keep cool and remind them - they will remember.

If you call the next day it does not show neediness.

My personal opinion, is the phone is rather unless as a gaming tool (gaming - trying to elicit attraction, and seduce them). They have already made their decision of whether they will meet up with you/ are attracted to you, the phone is merely a formality, a bridge to getting to see them in person again, that is it.

I'd text a girl as soon as I'd get home (let's say if I NC her at a bar) because she's still in the "nightly mood" and will associate texting you with this feeling.
