Hello all,
Today i walked into a shop, saw these 2 girls and said hi.
I started off by saying something along these line "hi, this is real random. But i'm looking for a bdae present for a friend(girl), was wondering if you girls could give me a few pointers." They were real cool abt it and actually picked out a few skirts/dresses. I asked if they were willing to "aid" me in my search, they sportingly agreed.

SO. We went to a couple of shops, i asked if they wanted to grab a bite, they again didn't decline. End of the day i told them i had to go meet my friend elsewhere and we exchanged numbers.

See the thing is that i kinda carried the lie a little too far, one of the girls msged me and wanted me to update her on what i picked for my "birthday friend". I even showed them a random friend on facebook, pretending it was the "birthday friend"

Now if i were to ask for a meet-up i am afraid they'll want to see pictures and ask me more abt the fictional character. And i kinda feel bad about continuing on with the lie, though they aren't my type and i won't be escalating the relationship i just kinda want us to remain as friends. I am afraid that if i tell them the truth that just seems real mean of me.

Honesty is the best policy?
Lies are truth, if remained a secret?

When you are opening the girls, always have something that you can relate to your life. What i mean by that if you are opening them using this opener then you need to have some facts about this. What i would recommend is to always have some parts as facts. But no one is saying anything about stretching the truth. The thing is like this some small lies here and there do not matter.

But you have already taken the lie to far i would say, you could just used this opener as a excuse of talking to you girls. But it seems like you are not really interested in them anymore. If you now tell the truth it is going to be hard to be looked as trustworthy, what i would recommend is to make the it a reality. But did you say when the birthday party was? Did you give them a specific date? If not you could have sad that i am just starting to look early for a gift, want to surprise a good friend of mine.

You are really in deep in this stuff now so i would just let it calm down for a while, because you have been making a reality that is not true. So to next time do not take the lie out of control and if you are lying about things like this. Just talk about the future and just was in the shop and saw you girls who might be able to help me out. Bla bla bla.
