Seeing as most people on here are either looking for advice or looking to give it(not read boring introductions), this seems kind of pointless; but hell, I'll give it a shot. I'm a freshman studying Aerospace Engineering at the University of Illinois. I'm not horrible with women, but I'd like to be better. I've had about four girlfriends(none of them serious) and a one night stand when I was wasted in Panama City Beach (senior week is really a great time, if you haven't been). I've got a decent setup, I hang out with some of the girls from my high school and go out regularly, but I'd like to step up my game, not only in dating but also in the professional world; simple psychology works everywhere. The way I got into the game is sort of strange: both my stepmom and my brother read "The Game" and said it was a great book, so now I'm reading it. Now, I'm sure it's obvious I didn't come to this site with just a few minor dating issues. It's nearing Christmas break and I haven't even kissed a girl here at U of I. College girls are easy, I'm just not doing it right!

its not pointless to write an intro, just having wrote this you are closer to having game by clarifying your position and standing.

Ill give you your first piece of advice. Game is hard, the journey is hard, you will have to get used to rejection, study hard, practice a lot, and be diligent. The good news is you can do it and its worth all the effort.

Finally remember one thing, 20% of the college guys are fucking 80% of the woman, you need to figure out how to get into that 20%.

Thanks for the quick reply! I plan on putting everything into this, like I do with most things. There are very few things that can stand in your way when you set your mind on something. Hell, I'm already over halfway through "The Game" and it's only been about 3 days. The only problem I have when I'm practicing on girls I know is this: by acknowledging and thinking about what you're doing, every movement feels awkward. I'm not sure if I'm projecting this awkwardness ( I hope I'm not), but I imagine it goes away with practice?

yes everything awkward becomes normal and routine through practice. You will subconsciously adjust your game, and improve, just by constantly practicing. Keep reading PUA material while you consistently practice (approach-open-attract) you will be a monster. Don't give up when things get rough, they always do, its part of the game.
