| Hi, I've known a girl for 2 months now and she at first was head over heels on me trying to go places with me and what not. However, I just didn't know if I really liked her so being a pussy, I waited it out. Now, I am pretty sure I like her (partially because she stopped talking to me every now and then).
My PROBLEM is that I am in college and we are in the same project group. This requires us to talk weekly. Not surprisingly, this is the only time she ever contacts me now. I don't know if its an excuse for her to talk to me or just business. Anyways, my usual strategy being friendzoned is to cut off all contact, add on a few lbs at the gym, redo my clothing style and act more confident. In this case, she would message me every few days about some random thing related to school work (I think she does it just so she could speak to me but I feel like I have been zoned).
In response to her messages, i either come across as brief and to the point, "yes", "no" "maybe", or try to end the conversation as soon as possible. I also once told her I was busy and would be right back, which I came back 45 mins later. My concern is that this isn't actually cutting off all contact as I still need to chat but when I am chatting, I no longer use emoticons and keep it brief. Would this actually HURT my chances as I would be semi talking to her but every time we "talk", it is boring short messages coming from my side.
Really not sure what to do at this point, I was thinking of blocking her for a few days, just totally avoid the messages (really hard to do for me), or just try asking her out and being friendzoned for sure. Thanks!
