Me and my friends are going to a local nightclub this weekend for a halloween party. The thing is, costumes are optional and we are not planning to wear any. So my biggest concern is what should i say if the girl asks me why i don't wear a costume?
The first thing that came to me was:

- I've got nothing to hide. Why should i wear a costume?

I need you'r advice guys. What would you say?

"I'm a male stripper."

*slowly starts unbuttoning shirt*

Who the fuck knows, it's Halloween, you could probably just start unbuttoning your pants and get lucky

My philosophy is to always give a DHV answer to any question that is inherently a DLV. Asking why you arent' wearing a costume is basically the same as saying "Why are you lame? Are you too poor to afford a costume? Are you too dumb to realize it's a halloween party? Are you no fun? Why don't you fit in?" And if you don't have a good answer, you are basically inadvertently showing that you are indeed all of those things she is implying. That's of course why you are here asking for advice as to how to avoid this!

So be creative. Things that come to mind:

"We just flew back from Vegas and I had no time to change."
"I'm actually dressed up as a hot guy."
"My sexy nurse costume is at the dry cleaners."
"I have a Mitt Romney mask in the car but it's too fucking hot to wear in here."
