I recently started going out with this girl, we live in different countries but see each other frequently. She texted me this when she didnt hear from me for couple of days;


When I asked her what are the nature of her worries, she replied me this;

"The main are;
accident while drunk,
overdrinking,
being arrested, etc
for you to understand, im gonna control every step you take, i just wanna know that you are ok there, its very important for me."

how would you reply to this. I know she is caring about me which I really appreciate. But how should I reply to her? Thanks in advance guys

Do you drink a lot? Do you find yourself in situations where her concerns are valid?

If yes then say "Awww you worry about me! I'm gonna be ok...."

If no, then you may want to ask her "Why do you feel this way?"

IMHO she sounds like she is going to be a very controlling person...Buyer Beware!

I would first thank her for her concern. Then I would give my typical explanation that I am very busy and sometimes miss texts/calls due to the fact that I'm out of town and doing all this cool DHV shit. That way she will know that you understand her concern, that you may not respond to her in the future so she need not be clingy, and that you are one cool mofo and she should be lucky if you respond to her at all!
