So basically I've been talking to this girl for about a week now (friend introduced us at school). I found out she likes me and all but my problem is texting/calling her. When we meet in person conversation is easy and fun. BUT, when she texts or calls me, i have a panic attack haha. I run out of things to say so quick

so is it best to ignore texts and save yourself or not?

running out of things to say is usually because ur putting to much effort into it and overthinking. You'll find that if you text several HB's at once that texting is easier because you'll put less effort into each one.

If in person you find your game is wack, would you ignore her? Of course not. Practicing will make you better at ur text game anywhere so just text her.

One of the secrets to good texting? Not caring what she thinks. If you want to send a good text, but are there with phone in hand, thumb going from number to number, not knowing what to write, put the phone down. Take a breath. And imagine this chick was one of hundreds. Fuck her! Who cares! Now it's time to get creative! What could you text her that would be fun for you? Use. Your. Imagination.

"So I just got offered a flight to Pluto, but they need me to take an amputated human sample in case of alien testing. Can I have your arm?"

"Let's fly to New York and bring back 70s music. What's our band gonna be called?"

"Just came back from the future. Girl, you needa get yourself in check. Jussayin'"

Made those up right here and now. Just be creative and stop worrying about what she might think, and start having fun. If you have fun and your texts are fun, she will also want more of them as they are...FUN!

Yep, what Tr@veler said. Guys focus too much on texting the "right" things to girls. It's a losing battle. Might as well just text whatever you want with a "fuck it" attitude. Because the girl will still probably either ignore you or write back a one word response.

In a conversation find out what she is going to do this week or in the nearby future, that way its easy to reopen a couple days later. You can ask how that thing went in stead of ''hey wassup, or whats new''. Its more natural than coming up with funny or canned stuff.

If you run out of things to say, just stop texting for a couple of hours. Get back later you where simply to busy for a moment. Shes not a high priority you got other stuff to do.

Yea, text her something, then when she replies back be like, "Yep, so true...anyway, gotta run...at softball practice!"

It's the male equivalent of when a woman calls you then immediately says "Hey, lemme call you back..."

that's deep, never thought of it like that but it has just made things clear. I think it's one of those cases where: you can talk for hours & have the most fun with a girl you're not attracted to (not giving a fuck), you feel the need to impress all the time which restricts you (caring).
